Material Kit - Flask Backend

How to use

Flask React - Material Design is an open-source product, released under MIT license. The source code and documentation contain enough information to help anyone building the app. In case you want to build this product, without leaving this page, follow the steps:

Build the Flask Boilerplate Backend

The backend server is a simple Flask with JWT authentication, SQLite database, SQLAlchemy ORM, unit tests and basic tooling.

git clone
$ cd flask-boilerplate
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
$ flask run --port 3000 # start the Flask server

Build Material React Frontend

The frontend is a simple React app enhanced with JWT Authentication with fully functional login & registration flow.

$ git clone
$ cd material-kit-react
$ yarn
$ yarn start # Frontend runs on port 8080
